About the Artist

Sarah Beckett is an internationally recognised painter whose luminous oils explore a journey of love and solitude. Her Desiderata collection — born of the Lockdown Moments series — draws on the poem's meditation on finding peace amid the noise and haste of the world.

“Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.” Beckett's work has been exhibited across Italy, Spain and Trinidad, and she was selected as one of fifty living artists worldwide to be featured in The Great Encyclopedia of International Art alongside Picasso, Modigliani, Dalí and Warhol.
